Insulated Structures tailors its panels to fit cold rooms of any shape or size, making us the preferred partner for custom cold and freezer room design and manufacture.
Our panels feature brilliant white chromadeck and are ready for installation using our interlock or tongue & groove jointing systems.
After fabrication, each panel is injected with polyurethane foam, which expands through a chemical reaction to completely fill the interior. The result is a rigid, continuous layer of insulation that fully adheres to the panel walls.

The Value Of A Cold Room With Polyurethane Injection
When insulating the walls, floors and/or ceilings of a cold room, most experts are aiming for that perfect thermal transmittance reading. This value (U-value) needs to be fairly low as it represents the rate at which heat transfers through matter.
Manufacture & Installation
Our panels are manufactured and stored at our factory. Once installation commences, the panels get shipped and installed by our specialist team.

Polyurethane Panels
Panels join via high-impact PVC interlock profiles that snap together for a sealed joint. The PVC accommodates thermal expansion and contraction, preventing cracks, moisture ingress and loss of insulation value.
Floors - Fabricated and Concrete
Internal floor finishes include 2mm aluminium treated plate or 0.8mm galvanised plate, glued to a marine ply base. Concrete floors are used for flush, step-free entry in permanent structures, typically with a 150–170mm recess for foam slab insulation and screed.
Meat Rails
Hot dipped galvanised or Electro Galvanised meat rails can be supplied and installed to client specifications. The meat rail support structure is integrated into the insulated panel.
Aluminium Chequer Plate
As an option, aluminium chequer plates can be installed in cold or freezer rooms to protect panels from scratching and light impact. Standard plates are 1.6mm thick and 1250mm high.
